SW-Motech KLR650 Center Stand

SW-Motech's KLR650 center stands are of the highest quality to make parking, chain maintenance, cleaning, and tire changes fast and easy. Super-strong steel construction features typical German design and high engineering standards. Superb integration with the factory exhaust and side stand components. Includes powdercoated lifting handle which bolts to passenger foot peg bracket for easier center stand deployment. This stand retains all existing features without sacrificing lean angle or clearances.

All hardware needed to mount the center stand is included. Typically installs using basic hand tools. No welding, cutting, or drilling of existing frame or body parts required. Tough black powdercoated finish with some gray fittings or hardware as applicable. Double-retention springs are included as a safety feature to prevent center stand from contacting pavement if one of the two springs should fail during a ride.

These stand will raise the rear tire 1-2 inches off the ground when installed on the standard height version of KLR650 using OEM dual sport tires. Recommended for the original (unlowered) KLR650. Fits with or without the SW-Motech skidplate for the KLR650. Designed to work with OEM components, we cannot assure fit with aftermarket exhausts or other non-OEM accessories. To easily deploy this center stand, we recommend the following steps:

• stand on the left side of the motorcycle
• put your left hand on the left handlebar grip
• put your right hand on the included lifting handle
• put your side stand in the "up" riding position
• place your right foot on the foot of the center stand and press down so that BOTH feet of the center stand are touching the ground
• rock the motorcycle rearward, pulling rearward (not up) on the lifting handle
