It's time to face the facts. Ethanol-laced gasoline is a pretty poor fuel, which can create a host of problems from mild to wild.
Unfortunately, ethanol readily absorbs water from the atmosphere. It can absorb and disburse a bit of this moisture but eventually something called phase separation takes place. This is when too much water is absorbed into the fuel and then water, ethanol, and gasoline all separate into 3 distinct layers. Water at the bottom, next the ethanol, and the gasoline on top. In worst case scenarios you are drawing pure water into your engine and that's never good. The damage to your engine from phase separation can be as minor as hard starting or rough running all the way to serious or even catastrophic engine damage.
What's the answer? Your best bet is to buy ethanol-free gasoline but if you can't do that, be sure to treat every gallon of gas you buy with Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment. The 8-ounce bottle can treat up to 48 gallons of gasoline, although we usually run it a bit stronger at one ounce for every 3 gallons of gas, thereby treating 24 gallons. Pour Star Tron into your gas can or fuel tank and and then fill up. Star Tron helps to prevent phase separation by keeping water molecules in suspension, so they do no harm. It will stabilize gasoline for storage up to 2 years. It cleans valves and fuel injectors and it's safe for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Star Tron helps make internal combustion engines run smoothly and can rejuvenate old stale fuel.
We know these are some pretty bold claims but we've used Star Tron for a long time and we know it works. We treat the gas for our motorcycles, cars, trucks, and power equipment with Star Tron and we get great results. And what about gas that goes into a gas can for later use? That gets treated with Star Tron religiously. We know ethanol-laced gas, if untreated, can go bad in as little as 30 days. Nobody's got time for that kind of nonsense. We fill our snowblower with Star Tron treated fuel in April and we know it will start right up for the first snowstorm in December. That's performance we've come to depend on. You love your bike so keep it running great with Star Tron treated gas. It's especially important the gas be treated before storage if you put your bike up each year. Don't forget to treat and fill your fuel system before storing your bike.
