Schampa has taken the classic balaclava and improved upon it. With some clever cutting and stitching you have a headpiece that goes from a buttoned up tight Ninja look, to a fabric below the chin King Arthur thing, to an off the head neck gaiter. Black. One size.
Silk has long been used in cold weather activities such as hiking and skiing as a base layer and liner. Now Schampa has introduced a new fabric with all the best qualities of silk, MicroModal®. The natural starting material for MicroModal® is beech wood from sustainably managed forests. It breathes, wicks, and is lightweight to boot! For really, really cold conditions some of our other fabrics will be more appropriate; but for temperatures ranging from warm to cool to cold, MicroModal® just can’t be beat.
