Although the Suzuki V-Strom is fitted with better twin headlights than most cars, many V-Strom riders do fit auxilary lighting. No cutting, drilling, measuring, nada.  This strong bracket attaches in just a few minutes to the bottom of the headlight faring by replacing the factory plastic rivet type fasteners with the included slip-on nut plates. If you're doing custom electrical work on your bike you might need to add a fuse somewhere. We've used Posi-Locks on motorcycles that get used off-road in wet and muddy conditions for many years and we've never had a problem. A very common garage task is the need to "tap" a hot wire, to provide power for a new electrical accessory. Usually it's a pain to do it well. Not any more! Posi-Taps make it fast, clean, simple, and secure. It's almost like cheating but we don't care! Posi-Twists are a bit like the wire nuts that connect your house wiring, except for motor vehicles they're about a thousand times better! Why? Because old-fashioned wire nuts are designed to connect solid core wire, not stranded wires like in your motorcycle and other vehicles. Also wire nuts are not intended for use where anything is moving or subjected to the ravages of wind and weather. Posi-Twists take all of that in stride. Posi-Twists are used to cap a bare wire end or two join multiple wires at one point. For a in-line or "running" connection, Posi-Locks are the way to go (product code POSL). Ordinary LED lamps try their somewhat limited best to project light directly forward from the LED emitter. This as we all know, works with less than optimal results. So the lighting engineers at PIAA took a new approach with reflector-facing LEDs  which bounce the light off an ingenious computer-designed multi-surface reflector. This offers greater illumination than standard technology lamps with the durability and low power draw of LED lighting.

The small processor box is usually mounted in a safe location such as under a seat or side panel. It requires a switched power and a ground connection as well as connection to the speed signal generator wire. Just 3 wires. And finally the super high quality (dare we say "mil-spec") anodized aluminum lamp assembly needs to be mounted to the rear of the bike. Especially for bikes with some kind of rear rack or backrest this is usually easily done with two small machine screws. Once installed Strobewise™ is on duty, watching your "6" at all times. This switching will only be done once; when the bike is turned off and then back on you will not have use of the bulb that failed until it is repaired or replaced. While the Heads-Up Alert feature will continue to function in the event of a headlight failure, the headlight will not modulate otherwise. If you find you cannot get your headlight to modulate, check the bulb.
