1. Like the first, what you get is nearly 300 pages of some of the best biking routes in the USA Review by www.inter-bike.co.uk, August 2009 All my reviews (0)

Like the first, what you get is nearly 300 pages of some of the best biking routes in the USA. These are routes that will challenge your riding skills, but will also give you things to look at along the way and some good lodging and eating houses. The softbound book is ideally suited to taking with you with maps and point-to-point trip outlines for more than 30 different trips US-wide and includes topographic road maps to help you follow the recommended routes and know what kind of terrain you will meet along the way.

If you are going riding in the US and not taking the more conventional road trips like Route 66, this is a must-have travel book for those who long to take two wheels to the best of the open roads. (Posted on 10/2/09)

  2.
For the veteran motorcycle tourer with no place left to go, or the greenhorn without a clue where to start, the American Motorcycle Association Ride Guide to America, Volume 2 offers almost 300 pages of the most exciting places to travel Review by RoadBike, October 2009 All my reviews (0)

For the veteran motorcycle tourer with no place left to go, or the greenhorn without a clue where to start, the American Motorcycle Association Ride Guide to America, Volume 2 offers almost 300 pages of the most exciting places to travel.

Large, color photos give great previews without giving away the whole trip. Important, yet intricate details, such as which lanes to avoid on the Mackinac Bridge and where to watch out for speed traps in Missouri, can make you an expert on a certain tour before you even fire up the bike.
(Posted on 10/2/09)
