RAM Mount: Camera Holder

The RAM Camera Mount is one of our favorite RAM components for sure. The marine-grade, cast aluminum, powder-coated base, sports a stainless steel 1/4-20 SAE thread which mates to almost every camera tripod socket. Screw the RAM camera mount snugly into your camera tripod socket and then pop the ball into the RAM arm of your choice. You can shoot pictures from your handlebars of course, but so far our favorite video has been taken from a RAM Mount on the engine guard bars, about two feet off the pavement with none of the motorcycle in the frame. It looks great!

RAM Mounts are really strong but be sure to put a security tether on your expensive devices just in case. Who knows? Maybe your bike could be grazed by a meteor or a kamikaze turkey! It pays to be prepared. In any event we have taken countless still pictures and videos in the mountains of Whitehorse Country, all while riding! There is no better viewing when there is four feet of snow outside and the bikes are tucked away for winter!
