BikeMaster brand is a value leader for replacement parts, tools, and accessories throughout the motorcycle industry.
BikeMaster brand heated grips are no exception! These quality heated handgrip kits are easy to install, durable, and HOT! The elegant, open-end grip design makes the heated grip both stylish and functional. And of course that means they will work with or without bar-end weights or handguards.
The new 5-level heat control lets you set the precise temperature for the conditions. No need to tolerate grips that are just a bit too hot or cold for the ride. The highly efficient heating element design delivers heat faster than traditional heated grips Specially selected rubber materials resists the harsh outdoor environment and provides a secure and comfortable grip when switched on or off, summer or winter.Even at the highest temperature setting the grips remain durable and resist wear and tear.
Choose from the 1-inch heated grip kit for motorcycles with 1-inch diameter conventional tubular handlebars or the 7/8-inch kit for bikes with 7/8-inch (22mm) diameter handlebars.
Suitable for 12VDC negative ground application only. Includes both throttle and clutch side grips, controller, complete plug and play wire harness, and instructions. If you can install a set of regular grips and make a few simple wiring connections, you can install these kits.
Note: Here's a tech tip from the Whitehorse Gear Gadget Geek: If you install these grips to your battery directly, it will be possible for you to forget to turn them off after a ride. That would drain your bike's battery in short order. So you can connect them to the battery and swear to remember to turn them off after every ride (which is a nice idea but no one remembers ALL the time.) Alternatively you could wire heated grips with a simple, garden-variety four-terminal relay. This method insures the grips are powered off when you turn off your bike, no matter if you remembered to turn the grips off or not. You can easily guess why we like this method better! If you or a friend are "good with wires" you can buy a small relay at an electronics or auto supply house, add a few bits of your own wire and you're in. However if you need a complete and extremely high quality relay and wire harness kit, check out our Centech AP1R relay wiring kit. (Product code AP1R see the upper right side of this page for more information.) Although this kit is used by most folks to swich auxiliary fuse panels off and on automatically, it's perfect for foolproofing any heated grip kit.
